Manas K. Mandal

Manas Kumar Mandal is the Director of the Defence Institute of Psychological Research (DIPR), Delhi, India since January 5, 2004. He was born on November 1 1956.

He has obtained his Postgraduation and Doctorate from Calcutta University in 1979 and 1984, respectively. He has completed his post-doctoral research programme at University of Delaware ( Fulbright Fellow), USA in 1986-87 and at University of Waterloo ( [http://www.sici.org/ Shastri] & NSERC Fellow), Canada, in 1993-94.

His areas of research interests include Hemispheric lateralization.

Presently he is on lien from IIT Kharagpur [http://www.iitkgp.ac.in/fac-profiles/showpresprofile.php?empcode=aamYX&depts_name=HS] .
