Trail of the Cedars

Trail of the Cedars

The Trail of the Cedars is a hiking trail accessible from Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park, Montana. The path is paved and also parts that have a raised boardwalk. It is .6 miles and of course contains many cedar trees some over 80 feet tall. You may either make a loop and go back to the road or continue on to avalanche Lake. In the middle of the half loop there is a beautiful waterfall that has carved through colorful rock to make a channeled stream through the rock.
