Tim Brunero (born 1976) is an Australian journalist initially known as a contestant and the runner-up of "
Big Brother Australia 2005 ".He was widely tipped as a potential winner in the early days of the competition, however he narrowly missed out to
Greg Mathew .Brunero's pre-Big Brother journalism career was mainly with the NSW Trades and Labor Council's online publication "Workers Online". He worked briefly in the newsrooms of both "
The Australian " and "The Daily Telegraph"; both Australian newspapers.Most recently he joined John Singleton's 2GB-plus, the digital radio service from the Australian radio station 2GB, as a presenter.
Brunero visited
East Timor in November 2005 for Union Aid Abroard - APHEDA. He was also involved with theACTU 's "Your Rights at Work" campaign as a high profile spokesman, delivering speeches at rallies such as theAustralian industrial relations legislation national day of protest, 2005 .
