Tim Brunero

Tim Brunero

Tim Brunero (born 1976) is an Australian journalist initially known as a contestant and the runner-up of "Big Brother Australia 2005".

He was widely tipped as a potential winner in the early days of the competition, however he narrowly missed out to Greg Mathew.

Brunero's pre-Big Brother journalism career was mainly with the NSW Trades and Labor Council's online publication "Workers Online". He worked briefly in the newsrooms of both "The Australian" and "The Daily Telegraph"; both Australian newspapers.

Most recently he joined John Singleton's 2GB-plus, the digital radio service from the Australian radio station 2GB, as a presenter.

Brunero visited East Timor in November 2005 for Union Aid Abroard - APHEDA. He was also involved with the ACTU's "Your Rights at Work" campaign as a high profile spokesman, delivering speeches at rallies such as the Australian industrial relations legislation national day of protest, 2005.
