Sarah Jane Woolgar (8 July 1824 - 8 September 1909) was an English stage actress.
Woolgar appeared in the 1844 play The Adventures of Martin Chuzzlewit written by Edward Stirling and Charles Dickens "Aladdin and the wonderful Lamp-New Lamp for old Ones". In 1868, Woolgar appeared with Benjamin Webster in Dickens' No Thoroughfare at the Adelphi Theatre in London where she was credited as Mrs. Alfred Mellon.[1][2]
She married violinist and conductor Alfred Mellon (1820 – 1867) on 28 July 1855 at St George's, Hanover Square.
