Gilbert, 1892Gillellus ornatus, known commonly as the Ornate stargazer in Mexico,[1] is a species of sand stargazer in the genus Gillellus.[2] It is a tropical blenny known from the Gulf of California, in the eastern central Pacific Ocean.[2] It was described by C.H. Gilbert in 1892,[3] and can reach a maximum length of 5 centimetres.[2]
