Ormiston Horizon Academy, formerly know as James Brindley High School/James Brindley Science College, is an 11-16 mixed school located at the top most point of St Michaels Road in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Most students are from the surrounding areas such as Chell Heath, Fegg Hayes, Pitts Hill and Packmoor. The Head Teacher is Rod Hughes.
Until 2011, the academy was known as James Brindley, However, during the summer of 2011 the school was renovated and re-opened to students as "Ormiston Horizon Academy".[1] The school is funded by The Ormiston Trust.
