Oreobates simmonsi is a frog species of in the family Strabomantidae; it was formerly placed in the "Leptodactylidae" assemblage.
It is found in Ecuador and possibly Peru. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
