Ophiclinops varius, known commonly as the Variegated snake-blenny in Australia,[2] is a species of clinid in the genus Ophiclinops.[3] It is a subtropical blenny found around southern Australia, in the western Pacific and Indian Ocean.[3] It was named by A.R. McCulloch and E.R. Waite in 1918, originally under the name Ophiclinus varius,[4] and can reach a maximum length of 5 centimetres.[3]
