OpTier's Business Transaction Management suite includes:
- Experience Manager, a real-time, end-user monitoring solution that provides alerting, analysis and problem identification for complex web applications [1]
- CoreFirst, for visibility into the data center across infrastructure tiers[2]
- Business Events module, for complex event processing [3]
- CloudFirst, for managing service performance in private, hybrid and public cloud computing environments [4]
OpTier was founded in 2002. Founders Israel Mazin, Ori Mazin, Amir Alon, Dov Gal, Motti Tal, and Moshe Meisels previously worked together in Memco Software, which was later sold to Platinum Technology and ultimately CA Technologies.[5] The team originally set out to meet what it perceived as the changing needs of modern businesses and Fortune 1000 corporations, arising from the evolving nature of IT infrastructure.[6] OpTier’s customers include Avery Dennison, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, Morgan Stanley, O2, and Wells Fargo.[7][8] The company's partners include Amdocs, Capgemini, IBM, Keynote Systems, Microsoft and Oracle. OpTier has its headquarters in New York City, with additional offices in Silicon Valley, the UK, France, and Israel. The company has raised over $110 million in venture capital from its investors, including Carmel Ventures, Cisco, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Pitango Venture Capital, Plenus, and Morgan Stanley.[5][9]

In August, 2005, OpTier was named to the list of 2005 Innovators by InfoWorld.[10]
In May 2009, OpTier was selected as Red Herring 100 North America Winner.[11]
In September 2009 and 2010, OpTier was named Hot Companies Finalist by Network Products Guide.[12]
In March 2010, OpTier was named Finalist for the SIIA CODiE awards 5 years in a row.[13]
In August 2010, OpTier was named to New York City Hot 125 by Lead411.[14]
In June 2010, OpTier was named Best Transaction-Centric Business Service Management Solution by Enterprise Management Associates.[15]
