(1998)"One of These Days" is a song co-written and originally recorded by American country music singer Marcus Hummon on his album All in Good Time. It was later covered by country music artist Tim McGraw. McGraw's version is the fourth single from his 1997 album Everywhere. It peaked at number two in the United States,[1] and number one in Canada.

This song contains the message of self forgiveness. A man reflects on his bullying of a kid who was different and on the high school sweetheart who he left behind after she finally went all the way with him, and he reveals that the hurt he caused others was rooted in a deep loathing of himself.[citation needed]
