The ¥1 note is a Japanese banknote. There are four types of ¥1 notes. The old ¥1 notes (issued Sep. 8, 1885), modified ¥1 notes (issued May 1, 1889), #い note (issued Dec. 15, 1943), and #A note (issued Mar. 19, 1946).
