History
The sporting institution was founded on September 4, 1927 as a rugby club by 20 young men of the Vicente López district. Although the club is located in Munro, it bears the name of nearby Olivos, the seat of the Vicente López district.
One of the founders of the club was young Alejandro Bowers who came from a wealthy background. His father, Don Carlos Bowers, would became a major benefactor and the club's colours of Orange and Black were chosen in his honour.
After a couple of friendly games the club would enter the third level of the URBA championship in 1929, reach the first level in 1933 and win their first, and so far only, URBA title in 1940.
Since then, the club has been a constant feature in the league, fielding teams at all levels.
