History
Club San Fernando was founded on March 3, 1923, by rowing enthusiasts of the San Fernado district of Buenos Aires. Originally just a rowing club, San Fernando would develop other sport sections along the years, becoming the main multi-sports club of the San Fernando/Victoria/Virreyes area.
Rugby
Rugby has been played at the club since the 1920s and nowadays the team plays at the highest level of the Unión de Rugby de Buenos Aires championship, having only won its promotion to the URBA first division the club has not win the URBA title or the Nacional de Clubes to date.
