The club plays at the highest level of Argentine rugby, in the URBA 1st division.[1]
Club Pueyrredón shouldn't be confused with Mar del Plata's Pueyrredón Rugby Club, which is older by 3 years.

History
Club Pueyrredón was founded in 1953 in San Isidro and was named after Juan Martín de Pueyrredón, an Argentine brigadier general from the 19th century.
Nowadays the club is mostly famous for its rugby union team.
Rugby
Club Pueyrredón is located in the San Isidro area of Buenos Aires. As such the club has had to survive in the shadow of Argentina's two most famous rugby clubs: Club Atlético San Isidro and San Isidro Club.
Despite being seen as the minnows of San Iisdro, Pueyrredón have managed to climb the ladder of the URBA league system and are now playing at the highest level of provincial rugby, fielding teams at all levels.
The team have yet to win the URBA senior title.
