Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments

The Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments (OKI) is a transportation planning and advocacy agency based in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. The council of local governments, business organizations, and community groups coordinates policy on topics such as freight and intermodal transportation, air and water quality, greenspace, and infrastructure. OKI was founded in 1964.[1]

As the federally designated metropolitan planning organization for the Greater Cincinnati area, OKI has final authority over all federal funds spent on transportation in the region. In 2008, OKI approved roughly $40 million in project funding. Its 117 members represent nearly 200 communities in Butler, Warren, Hamilton, and Clermont Counties in Ohio; Dearborn County, Indiana; and Boone, Kenton, and Campbell Counties in Kentucky.[1][2]
