Odilia Dank (born 1938) served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives representing District 85 from 1994 until she was term limited out in 2006. [1]
Early life
Odilia Dank was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1938 but moved to Oklahoma at the age of two. She graduated high school from Casady School in Oklahoma City, earned a bachelor's degree from Randolph-Macone Women's College and a master's of education degree from the University of Oklahoma.
Dank worked in the Oklahoma City public school system for 28 years as an educator and counselor, working 12 years as a high school counselor at Del City High School.
Politics
Dank was elected to represent District 85 in the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 1994 and served until 2006 when her husband, David Dank ran and replaced her. During her time in office she was appointed as Chair of Education Committee and also served two terms as Vice President of the Republican Party.[2]
