Sphaerodactylus argus, the ocellated gecko, is a species of gecko.

Geographic range

The type locality is Jamaica.^[2] It is also native to Cuba and Hispaniola. Ocellated geckos can be found in the Florida Keys, where they have well established populations, though it is unsure if they were introduced or are native.

Habitat

Sphaerodactylus argus is a climbing species, and it can also be seen in buildings.

Diet

The ocellated gecko feeds on insects and other small invertebrates.
