Oakland, Colorado County, Texas

Oakland is an unincorporated community in Colorado County, Texas, United States. According to the Handbook of Texas, the community had an estimated population of 80 in 2000.[1] It is located southwest of the junction of Farm Roads 532 and 2144, approximately eight miles south of Weimar.

Although it is unincorporated, Oakland has a post office, with the ZIP code of 78951.[2] Public education in the community is provided by the Weimar Independent School District.
