Allama Nurul Islam Olipuri is one of the distinguished Islamic Scholars of Bangladesh. Nurul Islam Olipuri is specially famous for his prominent interpretation of the Holy Qur'an[citation needed]. He is populrly known as Tarjumane Ahle Sunnat Wal Jama'at in Bangladesh[citation needed].

Education

Allama Nurul Islam Olipuri gets initial education from his family including Arabic and Bengali. After completing his initial education, he took admission into a Madrasah not far from his home. Then, finally he goes to Jamia Qurania Arabia Lalbagh in Dhaka. He has completed Dawra-e-Hadith (Equivalent to MA in Islamic Studies) from Jamia Qurania Arabia Lalbagh, Dhaka in 1975.

Career

After completing education Maulana Olipuri joined a Madrasah called Hussainia Madrasah as a teacher, situated at Shahpur Chunarughat, Madhobpur, Hobigonj. At present, he is the principle of Madrasah-e-Nure Madina, Saestagonj, Hobigonj. Besides this, Allama Nurul Islam Olipuri visits as a public lecturer UK,[1] USA,[2] Middle East including many countries of the south Asia.
