Nuestra Belleza Latina 2012 is the sixth season of Nuestra Belleza Latina and the sixthth season to be aired on Univision. The season premiere will be February 26, 2011 at 8pm/7c, Second time to be aired in February first was Nuestra Belleza Latina 2008.

The auditions will be shown Sunday, prior to the final 12 are reveled. Auditions will be held December 2011 through January 2012 in five major US cities (Chicago, Illinois; San Antonio, Texas; New York City, New York; Los Angeles, California; Miami, Florida) and in San Juan, Puerto Rico. During the audition process, 75 young women were given passes to the semi-finals in Miami. Two contestants were chosen from online Auditions, with the help of public votes.

The winner of the contest was awarded a contract to be one of the new personality faces on many of Univision's programs and award shows and a chance to win more than $250,000 in cash and prizes; be a correspondent for El Gordo y la Flaca and reign as Nuestra Belleza Latina for a year. As an added bonus, only four contestants were eligible for the prizes in the finale.

Audience will be able to choose finalist in an online casting call. Third judge Julian Gil will be replaced as third judge due to filming Soap Opera, La que no podia amar. Some of the names rumored to be the third judge are actor Aaron Diaz and fashionista Rodner Figueroa.
