Nowiny Brdowskie — Village — Coordinates: 52°20′N 18°45′E / 52.333°N 18.75°E Country Poland Voivodeship Greater Poland County Koło Gmina Babiak Population 70 Nowiny Brdowskie [nɔˈvinɨ ˈbrdɔfskʲɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Babiak, within Koło County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) east of Babiak, 4 km (2 mi) south-east of Brdów, 17 km (11 mi) north-east of Koło, and 125 km (78 mi) east of the regional capital Poznań.
Monument insurgents January
In the village is a monument that commemorates the Battle of Brdów, which occurred on April 29, 1863. In Nowiny Brdowskie, was killed in battle Léon Young de Blankenheim.
