CKNO-FM (CIAB-FM during testing) is a new Canadian radio station, that broadcasts an adult top 40 format on the frequency 102.3 FM in Edmonton, Alberta.[1] It launched at 1:02 pm on February 23, 2010.[2]

Owned by Rawlco Radio, the station received approval on October 17, 2008.[3] It went on the air February 2010, restoring the adult top 40 format to Edmonton after five years when CKRA-FM dumped it for country music. CKRA-FM, as of 2008, is now a classic hits station. CKNO-FM has been Edmonton's most-successful adult top 40 station, since the other hot adult contemporary stations CKRA-FM (1996-2003 & 2005) & CKNG-FM (2003-2004) had failed in the ratings.

Its main competitors are contemporary hit radio stations CFMG-FM (104.9 Virgin Radio), & CHBN-FM (91.7 The Bounce), adult hits station CKNG-FM (92.5 Joe FM), & adult contemporary station CKEA-FM (Lite 95.7). However, Rawlco calls CKNO-FM as a hits for adults station. Since March 2011, the station was added at the Mediabase hot adult contemporary panel, with Nielsen BDS following suit most recently. It plays more classic hits over any other hot adult contemporary radio station in Canada, just like CKOI-FM in Montreal; rare for an adult top 40 to do that. Based with the classic hits lean at the station, another Rawlco station in Edmonton is CIUP-FM, an adult hits station leaning heavy towards classic hits as well. In addition, CKNO-FM does play a hint of alternative rock & classic rock songs not played by any other adult contemporary or adult top 40 station.
