Lillestrøm won the Norwegian cup by beating Brann 2–1 on 22 October . The goal scorer for Lillestrøm was Vidar Hansen, who scored in the 74th and 76th minute . For Brann, Steinar Aase scored in the 20th minute
23 534 spectators attended the match at Ullevål stadion in Oslo. The referee was Reidar Bjørnestad. This was the second time Lillestrøm won the Norwegian cup.
