Rosenborg became Norwegian Cup winners by beating Sarpsborg 2–1 on 25 October . The goal scorers for Rosenborg were Tor Kleveland, who scored after 32 minutes, and Tore Pedersen, who scored in the 55th minute. For Sarpsborg , Martin Kjølholt scored in the 85th minute.
24 665 spectators attended the Ullevål stadion in Oslo. The referee was Johan Riseth. This was Rosenborg's second Norwegian Cup.
