Living former governors
As of September 2009[update], four former governors were alive, the oldest being Pedro Tenorio (1982-1990, 1998–2002; born 1934). The most recent governor to die was Lorenzo I. De Leon Guerrero (1990–1994), on October 6, 2006. Guerrero was also the most recently-serving governor to die.
