Northern Guilford Middle School is a government-owned secondary school in Greensboro, North Carolina, teaching sixth through eighth grades. There is an average class size of 26.

Northern Guilford Middle School's community is dedicated to creating a nurturing environment for all students. Our goal is to inspire students to develop the skills needed to take control of their lives and actions and to improve the quality of life for themselves, their community and their world.[3]

Faculty

Northern Guilford Middle School has 90 faculty members. This includes six custodians, eight cafeteria workers, and eleven office staff.[4] 43% of teachers have advanced college degrees.[5]

Teachers

There are 56 classroom teachers.[5]

  • Eleven of language arts
  • Ten of mathematics
  • Eight of science
  • Eight of social studies
  • Seventeen for "exceptional children"

There are also instructors in art, orchestra, choir, band, physical education, technology, and reading.

Athletics

Northern Guilford has main gymnasiums. There are eleven coaches for baseball, basketball, cheerleading, football, golf, soccer, softball, track, volleyball, and wrestling.
