LeinsterFounded 1928 Ground(s) The Maws, Kilcock President Paul Mooney North Kildare RFC is an Irish rugby team based in Kilcock, County Kildare, playingy in Division Three of the Leinster League. The First XV is currently captained by Alan Lugs Branigan.The club colours are cerise, white and blue. The First XV were promoted to Division II of the Leinster League this season 2011 on Sunday March 13 after an emphatic home victory over Malahide 31 17. Malahide had not been beaten all season in the league and had beaten north kildare twice over the season already.Victory for North Kildare ensured promotion for them and prevented Malahide obtaining the league title in North Kildare's home ground.Aside from the First XV, the club also fields a Second XV and is in the process[when?] of starting a Third XV. It is part of the North Kildare Club, which also includes hockey, squash and tennis sections.
