18 July 1979 ) is arugby union footballer who plays at lock forLondon Irish .Bob is originally from County Kildare.
Bob Casey is one of the tallest players in the premiership at 6'8 1/2 inches (2.05 metres) Bob Casey joined London Irish from Leinster in July 2002, having previously played for
Blackrock College RFC and North Kildare RFC. Over the past three seasons he has made seventy first team appearances for Irish in a demanding position, a reflection of his fitness and professionalism. He was the club's Players' Player of the Season in 2003-04 and was the London Irish Supporters Club Player of the Season 2004-05. He is regularly captain when he plays for London Irish.Bob is a Director of the United Kingdom board of the
Christina Noble Children's Foundation .On the
10 June 2000 , Bob Casey was on theIreland rugby team that recorded Ireland's largest win, by beating theUnited States . With a final score of United States 3 - 83 Ireland.Bob also captained the Irish A team in the 2008 Churchill Cup.
