Norm Brunet (born 1958) is a Canadian singer-songwriter, best known for his album Life Goes On, which was released in 2002.

Beginnings
Brunet was born in 1958 in the province of Quebec. He grew up in Ottawa and started playing guitar while he was 9 years old. He also wrote his first song while he was 15 years old.
Early career
In the 1980s, he started as a country singer. He did more than 200 shows around English Canada and the U.S. In 1993, he released a self-produced album called Me and My Guitar. Four tracks from this album listed on the Top 4 of the Country Music News magazine. After 10 years of shows and music, he took a stop time.
Comeback
In October 2002, Brunet released a second studio album called Life Goes On on the independent label Hystéria Musique. Produced by veteran producer Michel Lefrançois, this album talks about the harsh realities of life like materialism, divorce and homelessness. Some of the songs are autobiographical.
