It is famous for rice,wheat and sugarcane crops. The majority of people of the village belongs to two subclans of Jats: Saikhu and Assoun. It has also a small mandi which is known as Nokhar Mandi. The population of village is about 10,000.The people of the village are hospitable and Brave.It is surrounded by many villages which provide a major portion of the local labour force.It has its own High School(for boys),Middle School(For girls),Rural Health Centre and Post Office.
Nokhar is located at a distance of 18 km from Nowshera Virkan and about 33 km from Gujranwala on Gujranwala-Hafizabad road. The total area of Nokhar is about 3,600 acres (15 km2).
Climate
The village has extreme climate; the summer season starts from April and continues till October. During the summer season, temperature ranges from 30 to 45 degrees Celsius. The winter season starts from November and continues till March. December and January are the coldest months with a mean minimum temperature of 5 degrees.
The dust storms occur occasionally during the hot season, during June, July and August. Rainy weather alternates with oppressive weather. The rainfall is 500mm per year. The mean minimum and maximum humidity during winter is 37% and 84%.

Some people are related with Governament official and most are Agriculturists.Thabble village majority Gujjars,rajput and lohars along with malik(taili) mochi and small other casts. Duchha mostly are Jats like Duchhas & Panus.
