(2008)"Nōdōteki Sanpunkan"
(2009)"Nōdōteki Sanpunkan" (能動的三分間 Active Three Minutes ) is a song by Tokyo Incidents. It was released as the lead single from Tokyo Jihen's fourth album, Sports, on December 2, 2009}.[1] The song was used in a Ezaki Glico Watering KissMint commercial. This was the first time Shiina featured in a TV commercial.[2] The moonwalk is performed by Shiina in the commercial, as well as by all band members in the song's music video.

Music and lyrics
The song, like its title suggests, is three minutes in length.[3] Furthermore, since the tempo is set at 120BPM, there is exactly one bar every two seconds.[3]
The lyrics of the song are in Japanese for the central stanzas of the song, and the first and final two stanzas are written in English. They describe somebody preparing ramen the day after a break-up, who is able to say "goodbye, how do you do in three minutes" and move on from this.[4]
Single release and reception
The single was first released as a digital download on November 17, 2009,[5] the same day that the Shiina's Watering KissMint commercial began to air.[6] The commercial features close-ups of Shiina's face, as she sits down and eats a stick of the chewing gum. It ends with a long-shot of her moonwalking backwards to a sofa, and sitting formally into it.[7] The song was later released in a physical format on December 2.
Music video
The music video was shot by director Yuichi Kodama[8] (director of Osca, Killer Tune and Senkō Shōjo). Kodama also directed the Watering KissMint commercial.[9] It depicts Shiina performing the song in four different rooms (a separate room for each band member). Her performance is mirrored in each room, and the camera cuts between these similar images. For example, when Shiina performs the moonwalk, clips from her performing it in each room are shown in succession. All the band members perform the moonwalk in the video.
The video is nominated for Best Conceptual Video for the 2010 Space Shower Music Video Awards.[10] Vocalist Ringo Shiina's video for "Tsugō no Ii Karada" (都合のいい身体 A Perfect Body ) (from her solo album "Sanmon Gossip") is also nominated, but for Best Female Video.
