AmericaOccupation Actor Years active 2009-present Website N/A Noah Marullo (born 5 February 1999) is a British child actor from Flax Bourton, Somerset.[1] Marullo is best known as his role in CBBC's Tracy Beaker Returns as Gus Carmichael, a character with Asperger syndrome, but has also appeared in Channel Four's Free Agents and the film Last Chance Harvey. Marullo is a member of The Actor's Workshop, an acting school in Flax Bourton and his is currently in Year 8.

Career
Marullo was exposed to the world of acting through The Actor's Workshop in Flax Bourton, which is directed by Clara, his mother.[2] Clara Marullo, who works as a drama teacher and actor, said "Our aim at The Actor's Workshop is to give them the training and experience to compete in the very tough world of stage and screen."[3] In 2008, Marullo auditioned for the role in romantic comedy Last Chance Harvey and was chosen from among thousands of other children from around the world.[3] Marullo spent five days filming in London.[4] Last Chance Harvey, which also starred Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson, was released in 2009. Aged nine, Marullo had his first television acting experience, appearing as Billy, the son of Stephen Mangan, in the Channel Four comedy series Free Agents.[1][2]
In 2009, he was given the role of Gus Carmichael in the CBBC show Tracy Beaker Returns, a sequel to The Story of Tracy Beaker.[1] He spent the Summer 2009 filming for the show in Newcastle,[1][5] which was shown weekly at the beginning of 2010. He said "I had a fantastic summer filming Tracy Beaker and have made lots of new friends on set". His character, Gus, has Asperger syndrome, which Marullo said was "what is so great about Tracy Beaker: it helps children understand that everyone is different".[1]
Personal life
Marullo was born in America, but shortly moved to the United Kingdom. His hobbies include singing, acting, playing the guitar, African drums and dancing.
