No. 124 Wing Active 1944-46

It comprised No. 137 Squadron RAF, No. 181 Squadron RAF, No. 182 Squadron RAF and No. 247 Squadron RAF.
According to the Air of Authority website on the RAF, the wing was active from 12/5/44 - 30/4/46 (as a Rocket Projectile unit) and from 1 April 1953 - 2/10/57 as a fighter unit.[1]
