Nick Bracks (born 5 March 1987) is the son of former Premier of Victoria Steve Bracks. He was born March 5th 1987 in Melbourne, attended Williamstown High School and Graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Business in Entrepreneurship in 2008.
Nick first came to prominence in a car accident in which he was caught drink driving in 2007, whilst his father was Premier of Victoria, resulting in a much published statement where he was quoted saying his son acted like "an absolute idiot" and "he has done the wrong thing". [1].
Since then Nick has publicly admitted to having suffered depression [2] and is redeeming himself by working with Beyond Blue which he sponsored as his chosen charity when appearing on Dancing with the Stars. [3].
Looking forward Nick is focusing on his acting career according to a recent article in the Herald Sun. [4].
In 2011 he was announced as a finalist in the Cleo Bachelor of the Year award.[5][6]
