Elections for a Public National Conference will be held in Libya by June 2012.[1] Once elected, the Conference will appoint a Prime Minister, Cabinet and Constituent Authority, which will draw up a new constitution.[1] This will be put to a referendum, and if approved, general elections will be held within a further six months.[1]
