The Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art is an art museum that is located on the campus and is a department of Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas. The museum is named for donors and local art collectors Jerry and Margaret Nerman. It opened in October 2007, succeeding the college's former Gallery of Art. The building was designed by Ho-Am Prize-winning Korean architect Kyu Sung Woo. As is the case with the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City, Missouri, general admission to the Nerman is free to the public.[1]
