About the school
NHVPS is an English medium school affiliated with The Central Board For Secondary Education (CBSE). It was established under the National Education Foundation (NEF) banner. The school follows the 10+2 educational pattern. It has two buildings: the primary school building, for students from PG1 – 2nd standard students, with a built-in playpen, and the main school building for 3rd – 12th standard students, consisting of a math lab, library, computer lab, physics lab, chemistry lab, biology lab, and a playground.

Mythreyi Shekhar Rishpana [1] topped the school in Class XII Board Exams by securing 96.4 %. Akshita Ramani secured 95.8 %, and came second. S.Vishwanath scored 94.6 %, thus coming third.

Class X achieved 100% pass percentage while 60 % achieved A1 grade. 22 Students achieved a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 10.[3]

Anirudh Wodeyar topped the school in class XII board exams by securing 95.4% along with R. Nithya. Soujanya K. secured the first rank in CET architecture with 94.2% in class XII board exams. Sports
All footballers in the school were set back by a decision to remove football from the list of playing sports.It was a biased decision by the principal and caused great sorrow to several football fans in the school.
The girls' basketball team managed to reach the National Basketball Tournament after reaching the finals in the CBSE Cluster South Zone Basketball Tournament. The boys' basketball team managed to reach the quarterfinals in the same tournament..
