Nation Consulting is a consulting firm based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin that offers services to business, non-profit and political clients. The firm's services include strategic consulting and planning, media relations and governmental relations.

History and leadership
Nation Consulting was founded in 2003 by Thad Nation[1] [2], now a senior partner in the firm. Nation founded the firm based on his political experience, having run the communications efforts of two governors in different states[3];Indiana Governor Frank O'Bannon and Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle. Nation has also served as communications director for the Indiana and Wisconsin Democratic Parties and as a deputy press secretary for the Democratic National Committee.[4]
Additional partners in the firm include Joshua Morby[5], who serves as the executive director of the Wisconsin Bio Industry Alliance[6] . Prior to joining the firm, served as the deputy press secretary for Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle[7] . During the 2002 Wisconsin gubernatorial campaign, Morby worked as the full-time staff for a third party candidate’s bid for Governor[8]. Partner Sachin Chheda[9] worked in the office of Governor Jim Doyle and has worked with a variety of advocacy and non-profit groups, including the Wisconsin Fair Trade Coalition[10]. He also is the current chair of the Milwaukee County Democratic Party[11]. Partner Jim Greer was involved in the startup of WisPolitics Publishing, an online news service company, prior to joining the firm. His political experience includes work on Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson's 1998 re-election campaign[12]
Jason Rae is also employed at Nation Consulting. At 17, Rae was the youngest person ever elected to the Democratic National Committee and went on to serve as a superdelegate at the 2008 Democratic Convention[13] .
Clients
Nation Consulting is also involved in regional and statewide economic issues, including consultation work with the New North [14][15], an economic development group promoting the 18 counties in northeastern Wisconsin. The firm also provides business consulting, non-profit development and management, and is involved in select advocacy issues, including voter rights and technology access[16].
The firm's client list includes Miron Construction, Wisconsin Energy Corporation, Michels Corporation and Pabst Farms, among others. The firm also has provided campaign management to a variety of political campaigns, primarily Wisconsin based. Nation Consulting also manages non-profit entities, including Wired Wisconsin[17][18],[19] a non-profit coalition of individuals, businesses and organizations that aims to promote technological industries in Wisconsin, and the Wisconsin Bio Industry Alliance[20][21], a non-profit corporation that supports the development of bio-based renewable energy, power and products.
