Nassarius optimus is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Nassariidae, the nassa snails .[1]

The shell size varies between 20 mm and 30 mm
Distribution
This species is distributed in the Indian Ocean along Madagascar and in the Pacific Ocean along Northern Australia, the Philippines and New Caledonia
