International Social Services

International Social Services or ISS is an international charitable, non-governmental organisation. It provides assistance in cases of family breakdowns with an international aspect, for example ascertaining a child's best interest where divorced parents live in different countries. It was founded in 1924, and was originally called International Migration Service, changing to its present name in 1946.

It has branches in over 100 countries, and has a central secretariat in Geneva.
