International Social Services Organization

International Social Services Organization is a Sri Lankan Non-Governmental Organization engaged in Social Services since 1991. Working in the field of Social Services, and registered under the Ministry of Social Services under the Act No. 31 of 1980 as amended by Act No. 8 of 1998.

Mission

Be a leader in working for the establishment of a world where all the people enjoy freedom and equal rights irrespective of distinctions of caste creed and religion.----

Aims

# Preparation and implementation of suitable programmes to establish goodwill, unity and brotherhood among all the people in Sri Lanka irrespective of caste, creed or religion specifically and all others in the world at large.
# Educate people in methods of disease prevention and help to implement such methods irrespective of whether there are epidemics prevailing or not in any part of the country with a view to bring about a physically healthy nation
# Prepare and implement effective and quality methods of education in consultation with the authorities concerned to have an intelligent and peace loving population.
# Engage in activities to protect human rights of all and to help those whose human rights have been violated with a view to re establish their rights.
# Engage in activities necessary and helpful to establish friendship and unity among all who follow different religions so that there arise no conflicts of any sort among them.
# Organize all types of social service programmes.
# Help the poor and the needy in whatever ways they require assistance without any distinction of nationality and faith.
# Help the youth of the country to establish themselves in all possible ways to find them suitable and satisfactory employment and make them independent.
# Grant financial and other assistance to those who possess special talents and creativity to establish themselves in useful and profitable commercial enterprises so that their talents are recognized and used for the benefit of the whole world.
# Establish counseling services to those who are here or abroad in employment and are forced to face various types of conflicts, as and when their problems are addressed to our organization.
# Give impartial and trustworthy assistance to settle their personal or social problems which arise among persons or associations.
