Myzerr is an international online coupon social network that connects businesses and communities. It offers a show-and-save loyalty solution that allows communities to establish reward programs for their members by using free self-service tools.[1]

Its headquarters are located in Melbourne, Australia.

Myzerr.com was founded by CEO Slade Sherman in May 2009.

Business operations commenced in June 2009 and the Myzerr Beta website went live in February 2010.

Myzerr has signed a deal with the Franchised Food Company[2][3] that will allow the company to distribute coupons for the Cold Rock, Pretzel World and Nutshack brands.[4]

Products and Services

Myzerr offers products and services for three constituents:

  1. Coupons
  2. Group loyalty programs
  3. Business promotions

Myzerr incorporates social networking features such as product sharing that allows users to track what their "friends" are doing at any particular moment. Users can also share discounts on sites like Facebook and Twitter.[5]

The site features an iPhone app that allows users to find coupons using a map showing the users’ location and nearby coupon icons on the map. Users show the coupon on the iPhone to businesses who can scan the coupon in-store. Myzerr also has widgets and applets for groups and businesses to easily download and promote their coupons.[6]

Disadvantages of the site concern the homepage not providing clear direction to a first-time visitor. However, setting up a group is relatively simple as the group management tools are straightforward.[7]

So far the site has 150 groups signed up, including charities, businesses and schools. Since its launch, Myzerr has attracted over 100 groups and generated 3500 business coupons from Australia, US, UK, Canada, South Africa, India and Malaysia.[8]
