Myriacantherpestes is an extinct genus of primitive millipede like arthropod from the middle Silurian. [1]

Description

Myriacantherpestes is believed to be one of the first arthropods called myriapods, which means thousand legs. Myriacantherpestes had many armoured and spiked body segments, which may have been a defense from predators, or a way to identify eact other.[1]
