Mylom is a village in Kollam district in the state of Kerala, India.[1]

As of 2001[update] India census, Mylom had a population of 22425 with 10729 males and 11696 females. It is a beautiful village with good harmony between people,has a good panchayath, mylom is famous for hills (culapara mala and allollipara mala )and also mylom panchayath have 20 wards where women's empowerment is very strong in this village.and this village has a very good school (D.V.V.H.S.S), very famous temple here and famous festival also cultivation :Rubber,paddy, tappiocca,plantain..etc. most of the population is educated,youngsters are very motivated most of the youths are joined in India army, and also working in middle east countries, political parties: Congress Party, communist party (CPI,CPM), BHARATYIA JANATHA PARTY. panchayath:MYLOM GRAMA PANCHAYATH.
