Mushroom Island

Mushroom Island (68°53′S 67°53′W / 68.883°S 67.883°W / -68.883; -67.883) is an ice-covered island lying 10 nautical miles (18 km) west-southwest of Cape Berteaux, off the west coast of Graham Land. First charted by the British Graham Land Expedition (BGLE) under Rymill, 1934–37, and so named because of its resemblance to a mushroom cap.
