Mount Kohler

Mount Kohler (77°17′S 145°35′W / 77.283°S 145.583°W / -77.283; -145.583) is a mountain (480 m) on the south side of Boyd Glacier located 4 nautical miles (7 km) east of Mount Woodward in the Ford Ranges of Marie Byrd Land. It was mapped by a 1939–41 United States Antarctic Service (USAS) expedition led by Richard Evelyn Byrd. The mountain was named for Herbert V. Kohler, Jr. and Ruth DeYoung Kohler II, son and daughter of Herbert V. Kohler, financial contributors to the Byrd Antarctic Expedition, 1933-35.
