Mount Hartkopf is a mountain, 1,110 m, rising along the east side of the upper reaches of Land Glacier, 11 nautical miles (20 km) southeast of Mount McCoy, in Marie Byrd Land. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1959-65. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Kenneth W. Hartkopt United States Antarctic Research Program (USARP) ionospheric physicist at Byrd Station, 1963.
