Mount Harding

Mount Harding (72°53′S 75°2′E / 72.883°S 75.033°E / -72.883; 75.033) is the largest mountain in the Grove Mountains, located in the south-central part of the group and about 4 nautical miles (7 km) west of Gale Escarpment. Mapped by ANARE (Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions) from air photos, 1956-60. Named by Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) for N.E. Harding, topographic draftsman with the Division of National Mapping, Dept. of National Development, who has contributed substantially to the production of Antarctic maps.
