The motorsport industry is the collective term used to describe the wide range of engineering and service businesses which support the sporting discipline of motorsport.
Motorsport is almost unique in the way in which it is a sporting endeavour in which a competitors' success is intimately linked with the performance of his or her equipment - in this case a vehicle.
