Moraine Bluff

Moraine Bluff

Moraine Bluff (78°46′S 162°12′E / 78.767°S 162.2°E / -78.767; 162.2) is a bluff, 930 m, on the east side of the Skelton Glacier, lying north of Red Dike Bluff. Surveyed and named in 1957 by the New Zealand party of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1956–58). So named because a long morainic strip extends from the foot of the bluff on to the Skelton Glacier.
